I'd like to start by saying that this is just an oppinion. It's not an attack against anyone so i'd appreciate if there won't be any flaming replies.
What are safe zones in Shaiya? Well, the way i see it, they are places where one can spawn properly or interact with npc without being Jumped by the opposing faction. The game allready has these impenetrable safe zones that serve just this purpose in orms of veils around portals and large number of guards in towns with NPC.
What happens once the player has spawned in a pvp area and is not interacting with NPC? Well, that player is obviously able to flee or deffend himself against a possible attacker so he leaves or aproaches the border of the safe zone where he can get hit by AOE at his own risk.
Now, atfter an attempt to assault such a player that left the Impenetrable safe zone and decided to relax just outside it i was made aware that there is actually another "safe zone" around this first safe zone marke by NPC guards. This second zone server no purpose whatsoever. In fact, it actually makes it harder for the staff because unlike the Impenetrable zone, this second safe zone can be breached by players. Another rule, that would't be required if this second safe zone that serves no purpose wouldn't exist, was added.
Now, because o this second safe zone, we have people who just decide to sit outside the veil in order to taunt/bait players into attacking them to take advantage o the newly added rule and remove the attackers rom the server, even though the person being attacked knowingly left the Impenetrable safe zone and entered a pvp area. Does anyone else see the problem here, or is it just me?
Once again, there is allready a safe zone within the veil. Even if aoe can reach inside, it can only reach around the edges, while the zone is quite large on it's own and the spawn point is safe. Why do we need a sae zone around the veil?
